Invisible Dental Implants
Replacing a front tooth is the most challenging procedure in dentistry. It is not enough for the implant to be strong; it must be indistinguishable from your natural teeth. When you smile, the new tooth shouldn't just look like it is sitting on the gum—it must look like it is growing naturally out of it.
At The Wraysbury Clinic, we refuse to compromise on your front teeth. We combine microsurgical techniques with artistic vision to ensure that your result is as close to natural as possible.
The Tooth Is Just Half The Story
The secret to a beautiful implant is actually the gum tissue that surrounds it.
When a natural tooth is removed, the supporting bone and gum tissue naturally begin to recede and disappear. If this is ignored, it can lead to aesthetic failures—dark shadows, visible metal rims, or teeth that look "long" and artificial.
To avoid this, we focus heavily on the Emergence Profile. This is the subtle curve where the tooth emerges from the gum line. To recreate this naturally, we must often rebuild the landscape before we build the house.
Microsurgery and Tissue Regeneration
Because the "pink aesthetics" (the gums) are just as important as the "white aesthetics" (the teeth), our approach often begins with foundation work.
Bone Regeneration: If the supporting bone has dissolved, we use advanced grafting techniques to rebuild the volume required to support the lip and gum.
Soft Tissue Microsurgery: We frequently utilize Connective Tissue Grafting—a delicate microsurgical procedure where we thicken and plump the gum tissue. This eliminates the "grey shadow" often seen with older implants and creates a lush, natural frame for your new tooth.
Specific, Aesthetic-Focused
Dental Implants
In the aesthetic zone, one size does not fit all. The engineering inside the gum is critical to the final look.
Different implant systems use different internal connections, which dictate how the crown sits against the gum. We select specific implant brands and connection types that are designed solely for the aesthetic zone. These systems allow for a tighter, more biological seal, preserving the bone at the neck of the implant and ensuring the gum remains stable for years to come.
Gum Sculpting Phase
This is perhaps the most critical step in our process, and it sets us apart from general implant providers.
We do not fit your final permanent tooth immediately. Instead, we create a series of custom-designed temporary teeth.
These temporaries are not just placeholders; they are tools. We meticulously adjust the shape of these temporary teeth over several visits to physically push and shape your gum tissue. We are "training" the gum to grow around the tooth, creating the perfect scalloped shape.
Only when the gum has matured into the perfect "Emergence Profile"—looking exactly like a natural tooth root—do we take the final impression.

Your Final Smile
Once the biology is perfect, we focus on the art.
Your final crown is not mass-produced. It is hand-crafted by a Master Ceramist, an artist who layers porcelain to mimic the translucency, texture, and colour of your natural enamel. We match the subtle optical properties of your neighbouring teeth so that even close up, it is difficult to tell which tooth is the implant.
Frequently Asked Questions
I am terrified of the dentist. Can I be asleep?
We treat many patients with severe dental phobia. We offer intravenous (IV) sedation, which puts you in a state of deep relaxation. You will be conscious but unaware of the procedure, and most patients have no memory of the surgery afterwards.
Will I be without teeth?
Never. The beauty of this procedure is that you leave on the day of surgery with a fixed set of teeth. You will never have to wear a removable denture during the healing process.
